Correct the broken boundary
Repair source or integration, determination, supported physical exception, stock reconciliation, or downstream posting at its owner.

FIRST EWM DECISION
Warehouse execution issue, stock issue, or integrated ERP issue?
A bin movement can be correct EWM work without creating FI. Keep physical execution, inventory state, and accounting evidence distinct.
Check reference document, warehouse relevance, item status, and integration before recreating warehouse work.
Check process type, source/destination determination, stock, queue, activity area, and workload.
Check physical evidence first, then GR/GI, delivery, inventory synchronization, and valuation relevance.

Follow the boundary that failed
01 · Inbound delivery exists but warehouse work does not
Trace delivery → warehouse request → process type → WT/WO creation. Confirm warehouse relevance and integration before changing determination.
02 · Putaway or picking WT cannot be created
Trace request → product/HU/stock → source or destination determination → process type → queue/activity area.
03 · Warehouse task exists but cannot be confirmed
Trace WT/WO → resource → source/destination → quantity/HU → lock/status/exception.
04 · Wrong source bin, destination bin, queue, or resource
Trace determination and work-package rules; correct the condition that created work before recreating it.
05 · Physical stock and EWM disagree
Trace confirmation → HU/bin/quant/stock type → controlled stock correction. Preserve physical-count evidence.
06 · Warehouse work completed but GR/GI or delivery is wrong
Trace confirmation → posting/synchronization → delivery and inventory status → downstream accounting where relevant.
07 · HU identity or quantity is inconsistent
Trace HU, product, quant, bin, task, and physical handling evidence; do not repair a display alone.
08 · One document is stuck while similar work succeeds
Compare request, determination, queue, resource, status, and integration evidence to isolate the differing condition.
EWM SUPPORT MOMENT
Outbound delivery exists, but picking does not start
Confirm the warehouse request exists and is eligible; then trace WT creation, source stock, process type, queue, warehouse order, and resource assignment. Do not begin with goods issue or billing.
- Preserve the last known-good object, reference, status, quantity, identity, and timestamp.
- Correct the first failed boundary, not the final red status.
- Prove physical, EWM, and ERP evidence agree before closure.
Use 202 for demand, determination, warehouse objects, inbound/outbound, stock, shift control, and handling units; 303 for integration; and 404 for configuration proof.
